generally speaking heat is not transmitted through the internal part of an object by radiation it is only radiated from the surface.

It is transmitted from the surface to other objects by either radiation, convection (through a moving fluid such as water or air), or conduction (by directly touching the other object).Is thermal radiation radiated ONLY from the SURFACE of an object ?
It is radiated throughout the body. The surface atoms are not the only ones that are involved in blackbody radiation.
