What happens if an object absorbs all light?

It looks black. When something absorbs all wavelengths of light t appears black. What happens if an object absorbs all light?
I believe it turns the color blackWhat happens if an object absorbs all light?
The colour of the Object is not contained within the object. The colour is the result of the light which strikes the object and is reflected by it.

When visible light strikes an object and a specific frequency becomes absorbed, that frequency of light will never make it to our eyes.

Any visible light which strikes the object and becomes reflected or transmitted to our eyes will contribute to the color appearance of that object.
Assuming that it absorbs light with 100 percent efficiency, it would glow as it gets hotter, and eventually would be vaporized by the heat involoved. Black holes of course do this and are invisible. But there is a side effect of this called the accretion disk. Its the visible part of the black hole where matter is annihalated and energy results in the form of gamma rays. But yes it would be black, if it didnt absorb anything else.
It would appear black.
It will be perfectly black
You would not be able to see it.
it appears black...cause it does not reflect any light
There are all sorts of wavelengths of light but if you're talking about absorbing ALL light, then I think you would have to be talking about a black hole. A black hole has a gravitational field so strong that nothing, not even light, can escape. Time is affected as well. There has been one discovered fairly recently in the constellation of Cygnus.

Truly understanding a black hole is beyond me but it's fun brain bubblegum as much of it is based on Einstein's Theory of Relativity.

I'm sure someone with more knowledge than I have will come along eventually to give a really good answer. It will be fun to read it.

Good question, btw! :)
Firstly there is no such object which obsorb all light.!

If we assume so.

1) no light will reflect from that object.

2) so will not able to see that object

3) if ther is no light it should be dark so it should be look as black
It's black.
Imagine a coffin.
